Rapid Bike Evo Kit
Note: The California Air Resources Board (“CARB”) and/or the Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) does not permit the use of aftermarket emissions-related part(s) that alter the performance of OEM emissions-related devices other than on racing vehicles on closed courses. Rapid Bike Evo is the complete fuel-management module for riders who want more than lambda-only correction. Officially positioned around total injection control, Evo works on the lambda sensor signal and the stock injectors to reshape fueling across the delivery curve — with an exclusive auto-adaptive function that continues refining the map as you ride.
The Exclusive kit format means the ECU is configured for your selected motorcycle model, shipped with dedicated plug & play wiring and illustrated instructions — a ready-to-install performance package rather than a generic bare module.
Core capabilities
Complete fueling control — manage original injectors (application dependent, up to multi-injector layouts) and air/fuel behavior across the power curve
Auto-adaptive function — mapping optimizes with your riding style and bike modifications after roughly 150+ miles of riding.
Smoother real-world delivery — targets hesitation and flatness often felt at low/mid RPM under modern emissions calibrations
Performance-oriented fueling — Rapid Bike messaging commonly references improved torque/power feel in everyday RPM ranges.
Kit packaging — model-specific Evo module configuration, dedicated harness, install documentation
How Evo improves the ride
Stock ECUs protect emissions targets and durability margins. That can leave modified or even stock bikes feeling abrupt or lean in places riders notice immediately. Evo sits as a piggyback module: it does not replace the OEM computer, but it gives you deeper fuel authority than Easy-class lambda-only solutions.
With injector-level influence plus adaptive correction, Evo is the classic Rapid Bike choice for street performance, touring comfort, and setups that change over time (exhaust, filter, riding style).
Software & expansion path
Rapid Bike Evo supports the broader Dimsport tooling ecosystem. Depending on application and accessories, riders/tuners may use Rapid Bike software workflows, optional YouTune real-time control, electronic quickshifter support, multiple map management, RPM range adjustments (up to +1000 rpm where supported), and per-cylinder strategies on suitable twin-lambda engines.

Who Evo is for
Riders who want full injection-oriented control, not only lambda trimming
Owners adding exhaust/intake who need fueling that can adapt over riding time
Street and sport riders comparing Easy vs Evo and choosing depth over minimalism
Buyers who want a model-specific kit ready for install
Evo vs Evo2 / Racing
Evo is the established total-injection platform. Evo2 adds the newer app-centric experience (ECO/TOURING/SPORT modes, diagnostics). Racing builds on fuel control with ignition-timing oriented capabilities. Choose Evo when you want proven injector-level Rapid Bike fueling in a kit form.

Will Evo help a bike that surges at steady 5–6k rpm highway speeds?
Steady-state surge is a common mapping issue for some bikes, and Rapid Bike will iron it out in most cases; however, not all surges are fuel-related, but rather Fly-by-wire, the grip mapping and Rapid Bike won't help with that much. The family of bikes that comes to my mind is Ducati Hypermotard, 821 and 939, and some older MV Agusta models.
Is there a street vs track map philosophy you recommend for Evo?
Well, there are 2 answers to this question: 1- There is no need to do anything if you are a street rider and have occasional track days. 2- If you have a dedicated track bike but can also be operated on the road legally, you can consult with us or your Rapid Bike tuner to get some recommendations for the auto-adaptivity settings. But in general, as long as you are NOT using any exotic race fuel/s, there is no need to make any special adjustments or tuning.
Can I hide the module under the tail without heat issues?
Heat degrades motorcycle electronics, and Rapid Bike modules are no exception. Although the module is epoxy-potted and rated for temperatures up to 103°C (217°F), continuous exposure to excessive heat will eventually compromise its longevity. If your motorcycle features an under-tail exhaust—such as a Ducati 848, 1098, or 1198, or older Yamaha R1 and Honda CBR1000RR/600RR models or something similar —we strongly recommend relocating the module away from the tail section.
What laptop OS works with the Rapid Bike software for Evo?
Use the OS versions supported in the current Rapid Bike software notes for your tool. Check the download page before buying a new laptop just for tuning.
Does altitude affect my Evo calibration?
At higher altitudes, atmospheric pressure drops, which means the air becomes less dense. Because there are fewer oxygen molecules in every cubic foot of air, an engine pulling in its normal volume of air is actually getting significantly less oxygen. If the engine's fuel delivery isn't adjusted to match this thinner air, the air-fuel mixture becomes too **rich**—meaning there is too much fuel and not enough oxygen to burn it efficiently. Yes, the properly tuned Rapid Bike system may help, BUT >>>>>The Unavoidable Power Loss<<<<< Even if your Rapid Bike system adjusts flawlessly to keep the mixture correct, there is still simply less oxygen available in the cylinder. Less oxygen and less fuel burned means less total energy released. As a general rule of thumb, a naturally aspirated engine loses approximately **3% of its horsepower for every 1,000 feet** of elevation gain.
